NEW NEWS: Here's what we know (as of June 3, 2024) about the 2024-25 ILMEA Audition process (which we use as well for YJED):

• It appears that on a statewide basis, ILMEA will not be using either a commissioned big band chart or the Snidero etudes for auditioning. (Note that it appears that some districts may...or may not...be continuing use of Snidero etudes used in past years or other material.)

• It appears that ILMEA has commissioned audition etudes by local writers to be used across the state for jazz auditions!
